In 1929, Torres-García and other artists donated a painting to the emerging collection of the Museum of Art in Lodz, Poland. These artists included Jean Arp, Sophie Taeuber-Arp, W. Baumeister, S. Charchoune, Sonia Delaunay, Theo van Doesburg, Max Ernst, Albert Gleizes, Jean Gorin, Jean Hélion, Auguste Herbin, V. Huszar, P. Joostens, Fernand Léger, J. Lurçat, J. Marcoussis, Amadée Ozenfant, E. Prampolini, H.R. Schiess, Kurt Schwitters, Kurt Seligman, M. Seuphor, G. Valmier, Georges Vantongerloo, F. Vordemberge-Gildewart, and H.N. Werckman. Torres-García's donation was later destroyed during WWII.
This painting entered the collection of the Sztuki Museum in Lodz, Poland in 1932. It was donated by the artist to the a.r. Grupa Sztuki Nowoczesnj.
