Remark
This painting is likely a portrait of George Gershwin, an American composer and pianist who became one of the most influential figures in 20th-century music during the 1920s and 1930s. He is best known for works such as Rhapsody in Blue, An American in Paris, and the opera Porgy and Bess. He died following surgery for a brain tumor on July 11, 1937, at the age of 38.
